After 15 years of sewing together, we found it necessary to create our own fabric designs. With lots of trial and error, we came up with a fun way to do it.
I have been taking a watercolor class, so the idea came to teach Emily how to do watercolor backgrounds. Our neighbor has a yard full of many different types of flowers and was generous in sharing some of them with us. Using God’s creation on Emily’s backgrounds was the perfect fit! You can’t improve on what He has made anyway!
We then have our designs printed on fabric. Here are some of the pictures we have had printed or will print for future items along with a few of Emily painting.
